I Stay, I Go

History

27th February 2002

10:32am: I think there is something fundamentally wrong with the idea that we can derive happiness from some outside force, person, object, place or situation. All of those things are subject to change. Everything is, including us.

And it's not THOSE THINGS that are giving us happiness. It is OUR THOUGHTS about those things. Indeed, we're making it all up, writing our own scripts. The same is true for when we are unhappy. There is nothing "out there" making us unhappy. It's what we're THINKING about what's out there that's making us unhappy.

When we truly know this, we're out of the Blame Game.

When we TRULY know this, we're tasting FREEDOM for the very 1st time.
